B.Tech Students Vishal and Sourabh represented IIT Palakkad in Indian Youth Delegation Visits to China
India and China have been implementing an annual youth exchange programme since 2006-07.
For the year 2018, Vishal Choudhari (EE 3rd Year) and Sourabh Aggarwal (CSE 3rd Year) from IIT Palakkad were selected by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India to represent India in China as a part of the delegation. The delegation comprised of students, researchers, youth leaders and young achievers from India.
Together, they visited the universities, museums, industries, scientific facilities and tech parks in the cities of Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai, Kunming and Guangzhou. They also met with the locals, young professionals and youth representatives from China, exchanged views and discussed ways to improve Sino-Indian relations.
