Emerging Topics in Quantum Technology (2 to 4 Nov 2023)

Last two decades have witnessed extraordinary advancements in the development of quantum information theory and quantum technologies all around the world. On one hand, it has led to the development of research topics with tremendous potential of applications, including quantum communications and cryptography, and quantum computation. On the other hand, it has paved its way towards fundamental research in Physics through the emerging areas of quantum thermodynamics and the interface of quantum information theory with quantum many-body systems. Quantum mechanics being at the heart of all these areas of research, the Physics community in India has recently grown a considerable mass working on various related state-of-the-art problems.
