Internship Report 2017-'18
IIT Palakkad concluded its internship placement process for the academic year 2017-18. Like previous year, the Institute continued placing students for their internship assignments in premier academic Institutes like IITs, IISc and Universities abroad. Institute invited high profile industries to recruit students for internship placement this year. A total of 37 industries participated, and 48 industrial internship offers were made across the four streams. In addition, 21 industrial internships were assisted offline. Students of IIT Palakkad proved their merit through their performance in all aspects during the interview process.
Notable internship recruiters included GE, Daimler, TCS, Daikin, Timken, Titan, etc. Arista Networks from Bangalore offered the highest stipend of Rs. 45000/month + Rs. 50000 for relocation allowance/joining bonus. Three students got overseas internship through the support of the Institute. 100% internship placement was achieved for CS-2015 and ME-2016 batches
