Dr. Tessy Grace Mathews is a Clinical Psychologist with  experience in the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Mahatma Gandhi University Kerala and her research work was selected for UGC Maulana Azad National Fellowship. She qualified MPhil Clinical Psychology from Manipal University, Karnataka. She has done her postgraduation in Applied Psychology from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore and was the gold medalist for the same. Dr. Tessy graduated from Women’s Christian College, Chennai and was the recipient of Lakshmi Rajagopal Special Prize. She also holds an MBA in HR and PG Diploma in Human Resource Management. She has worked as Clinical Psychologist at the Dept of Psychiatry and Institute of Child Health of Govt Medical College, Kottayam and the Dept of Psychiatry, Pushpagiri Medical College, Thiruvalla, Kerala. She has scientific presentations and publications to her credit and has assisted in various social science projects. She also has teaching experience in Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology, General Psychology and Counselling both at graduate and post graduate level. She has given talks and written articles for magazines and periodicals addressing mental health issues. Dr.Tessy’s interest lies in addressing mental health concerns of young adults ranging from identity crisis to personality development and relationship issues. She follows an eclectic approach involving postmodern psychotherapy in her Counselling practice.
