CIF and CMFF Inauguration

Dr. Madhavan Nair Rajeevan, Secretary to the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India formally inaugurated  The Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) & Central Micro-Fabrication Facility (CMFF) on 2th February 2020.  The two sophisticated research facilities are established by IIT Palakkad at a cost of Rs 23 crores to support high-quality research in the design and development of functional molecules, materials and devices. The facilities are operated by the faculty and staff of IIT Palakkad and maintain a high operational standard. The research facilities are open to the use for all researchers in the country.
